Perfect Plates For Your Baby Shower!
Decorations for a baby shower can get tired, but using cute themes and ideas throughout the shower really helps give it some juice! Baby shower plates can be made or bought for spectacular presentation on your appetizer table.
First have a theme for the entire baby shower that you can use on these baby shower plates. Going with pink or blue is easy because you will find many plates in that color, but if you have a popular theme, you may be able to find it as well. Choose paper, plastic or your own porcelain dishes depending on food sturdiness, how many guests you have, or how nice your servingwear is.
One good idea is to personalize all of the plates. This is nice because people know which one is theirs and won't mistake it for another. It also adds a personal touch. You can even buy ceramic plates and use a paint pen for their names and the guests could hold onto it as a favor from the shower. Buy one nice ceramic plate and pass it around to all the guests, having them write poems, blessing, or wishes and give it to the mother-to-be as a keepsake.
Use pink or blue paper plates and punch holes one inch apart all around the edge. Buy ribbon and weave in and out of these holes and tie a bow when you get all the way around. This makes a lovely presentation of the food. You can also buy craft scalloped scissors and cute around the plate edge for a nice design.
Use regular scissors and cut the plates into the shape of your baby shower theme, such as a teddy bear face by cutting out ears. Have fun with your baby shower plates to add some delight to your appetizers!
